24 Days of Believing-Baptism

Baptism ~ how can i paint a picture for you the awesome life of a forgiven person given grace by a sinless Being who loves a sinner like me!  Leaning back into the everlasting arms and brought up again with Hope of a life with Him who carries all burdens!  How all water washes away and carries in its streams  the sins of the whole world that settles in the dirt of this earth to be cleansed again.  I come to God in prayer knowing He forgave on the cross and lives again to give me new life every day! I am buried by only One and rise again by One who carries me thru life with One that will give me hope to live in this lonely planet.
God, the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit are three but one in unity and purpose as i want to be,  i cannot do it alone and so the Comforter in the name of the Spirit carries me thru life.
Romans 6:3-6Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.”

Acts 8:35-38 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.”

Two went down into the water, they were buried, representing Christs death, and brought up again, representing the ressurection, to new life, immersing fully in the water.  Jesus was at the age of 33 when he was baptized as we should follow Him in like manner!

Blessings to all who believe!!!
